ChannelDeck Live Media Player

CHANNELDECK · M3U and Xtream setup

Set up your own IPTV playlist in ChannelDeck.

Use an authorized M3U or M3U8 playlist, or an Xtream Codes account, to bring your channels into ChannelDeck Player.

Prepare your source and device

Install Player on a compatible Android TV, Google TV or Fire TV device. Register or sign in to your ChannelDeck account and approve the short activation code shown on the television through the website activation page.

Have the playlist address or supported local playlist file ready. An Xtream Codes source instead uses the service address and account credentials supplied by your source. ChannelDeck does not provide or recommend provider accounts.

Add the playlist and guide

Use Player’s source setup to choose the appropriate source type and enter its details. Keep the playlist address intact, including any required query parameters. Treat private playlist addresses and credentials as sensitive information.

Attach your XMLTV guide when available. ChannelDeck can detect guide addresses declared in a playlist; you can also supply a guide separately. A playlist identifies channels and stream addresses, while XMLTV supplies program schedules. They serve different purposes.

Check the result

Browse the resulting channel groups and start a channel you are authorized to watch. If schedules are missing, check the guide address and whether its channel identifiers match your playlist. Premium provides manual EPG matching when identifiers need help.

Source status indicates connection or guide problems. Quick refresh updates the current playlist and EPG. Premium supports multiple sources; Free supports one. Source URLs, usernames, passwords and Xtream credentials stay on each device rather than syncing with Favorites and general settings.
