Choose your channels and layout
Select the group and channel for each screen. Add or remove screens while watching, and move between the screens with the remote. Audio follows focus so you can choose which channel to hear.
Multi-view is a Premium feature. It is designed for compatible television devices and your authorized live sources. Premium allows multiple sources, but that does not increase the number of simultaneous connections permitted by an external source.
Check simultaneous stream limits
Each active screen needs its own stream. Your source must allow enough simultaneous connections for the layout you choose. Other devices and DVR recordings can use additional connections at the same time.
Several streams also require more network bandwidth and device decoding capacity than one. If playback becomes unreliable, compare a smaller layout and check your network and source limits. No fixed channel count guarantees performance on every device or stream format.
Fire TV compatibility
On Fire TV, Multi-view requires Fire OS 8 on Android API 30 or newer. ChannelDeck disables Multi-view and DVR recording on older Fire OS hardware because those workloads can restart older devices.
ChannelDeck provides the player and controls. It does not supply channels or a multi-connection television subscription. Review your source’s permissions and connection allowance before opening additional streams.
